Speedcrafting Summer Party

A social evening of quick-fire taster workshops, as seen in TimeOut!

We were lucky enough to secure some funding from the Leytonstone Festival for the Speedcrafting Party, which enabled us to halve the ticket costs. We sold out within a few days and I could have saved some marketing pennies if I’d known it would be so popular.

Everyone got to make 4 mini-projects with time to socialise in-between.

The evening was great fun, I MC’d & kep the tables rotating. The audience was completely women; and it really is great that people feel confident to come on their own as well as with friends and know they’ll have a good time. Karen turned All You Read into a glamorous salon – check out the exhibition she’s curated for the Arts Trail in there – and it really felt like a celebration of creativity and summer.

Thanks to all who came and #made, and to the Festival for their kind support 🙂  Watch for next Make_E11 event on facebook.com/makeE11
